Naked Without My Cap

I almost feel naked without my baseball cap on especially the weekends. I normally don't leave home without one. My Saturday morning post is about a guy's number 1# must have accessory, his baseball caps. Since I'll be wearing one all day to keep the sun out of my eyes playing pool volleyball. Ever since the 1860s when caps or baseball style caps were first worn by the Brooklyn Excelsiors Americans love their baseball hats. They have been around along time and all walks of life wear them for all sorts of reasons. You don't have to be an athlete. Baseball caps are a staple in most men's accessory arsenal.  I love my baseball caps!

Man's Best Friend

Today's post is inspired by dudes and their pet dogs.  Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed guys getting a way from their hectic day after the office with their dogs. Some guys just take their dogs for a ride, take them to work, take their shirts off and go for a run or a dip in the ocean, chill out and cuddle up and watch TV with them....

Ponying Up

Work to Ride uses polo ponies and horsemanship to help inner city kids do something positive with their time.
Young polo players

How awesome is this! I stumbled on to Work To Ride this morning while searching sports and recreation on the net for my blog. Please check out the link to see some pictures of these hard working kids and their polo ponies. The first picture of a young boy playing polo below is from RL Magazine.

Horses were a big part of my life. I started riding when I was 5 yrs old and I am still riding. My pony and quarter horses gave me a sense of pride and responsibility. Competing against other horseman built confidence. Not only was good for my health and fitness, but at times was good physical therapy and helped me when I felt depressed. My horse could always sense my depression and nuzzle me on the cheek and bump me out of it.  So hats off to all these young kids for ambition.

Oprah's Visit to RRL Ranch

Talk about living the American dream.  Oprah's interview with Ralph Lauren at his Double RL 17000 acre in Telluride, Colorado was amazing. I love this photo of Ralph in his Bugatti Veyron in the middle of Colorado.
