#SabiSabi

In the movie "Out of Africa",1985: Were a lot of great scenes of wild animals, vistas that stretched out for miles, but my favorite scenes were the morning sunrises. I love mornings for that reason. I like to have my cup of coffee in my hands and watch the sun rise. It reminds me that it is a new day and to forget what happened the day before and move on. These photographs from remind me of the movie.

#CasualBarnInteriors

Its hard to believe this old barn may have once been the for horses and other livestock. This barn conversion was design by Carrier and Company. I really like the horse art and openness of the main living area. And also like how they left the raw support columns. Photographs via Carrier and Company website. Check them out!

After spending a lot of time out west as a kid and young adult I developed a real interest in native American Indians. And a special love for the vintage photographs of different key Indian Chiefs. I found these great photos of Dakota Sioux chiefs from the Smoky Mountain Dancers website. Check out this cool website to see more.
